The paradigm of the salvific presence of liberation: the name of God Ehjeh-Jhwh, „I Am-He is” (Ex 3, 14-15 / Ex 34, 6-7)

Abstract

The revealed name of God Ehjeh-Jhwh „I Am-He is” means his salvific, liberating presence in the entire history of His people, both when in the need for salvation are the victims of evil (Ex.23nn), as well as when they are its perpetrators (Ex. 31.18nn). In
the face of the victims of evil, the name of God first acquires the promise of liberation, and ultimately becomes the name of fulfiling the promise of liberation, the name of the covenant that guarantees the preservation of the given freedom (Ex 19, 1 – 31,17). of the revelation of God’s name, which is an important element of the promise of the deliverance given by JHWH. of God, a merciful presence. The study is an attempt to read the theological meaning In the situation of sin, in a situation of breaking the covenant and a threat of a loss of the freedom obtained, God does not withdraw His name from the history of His people, but towards the perpetrators of evil, it becomes a promise of a new presence of God, a merciful presence. The study is an attempt to read the theological meaning of the revelation of God’s name, which is an important element of the promise of the
deliverance given by JHWH.
