Studia Bobolanum is a semiannual academic periodical of the Catholic Academy - Collegium Bobolanum, Warsaw, Poland.

The first issue was published in 1990. It was a quarterly review until 2019. Since 2020 it has become a semiannual periodical.

The review encompasses such fields of theology and religious sciences as: exegeses, history, fundamental and dogmatic theology, ecumenical studies, theology of religions, pastoral and practical theology, ethics, canon law, and wider issues approached form the theological perspective.

The articles are published in Polish and in other languages.

The printed version of the journal is the original. Access to the journal is free of charge, and the PDF version is available on the website.

Studia Bobolanum is published under Creative Commons standards: CC BY-NC 4.0 (Attribution - NonCommercial - 4.0 International). The journal does not have a specific policy regarding research data.

Studia Bobolanum is indexed in the Index Copernicus International Journals Master List. In March 2019, the journal was qualified to a group of 500 journals supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under the "Support for scientific journals" programme. In July 2019, the journal obtained 20 points on the list of scientific journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

Aims and Scope

Studia Bobolanum publishes scholarly articles addressing issues specific to the discipline of theology and some wider issues from theological perspective.

The journal strives to promote international dialogue and reflection on contemporary theological, ethical and pastoral issues.

Its goal is to deepen the understanding of the Christian faith through the publication of research in theological disciplines, as well as some wider issues from theological perspective. The peridocal aims to recover the richness of the theological tradition in various fields of theology and to make it accessible to a wide audience.
